One seasonal note: the Torugart and Irkeshtam passes sit at high altitude and can close temporarily for weather in winter. If your shipment is scheduled for December–February, we confirm the pass status and route at booking rather than promising a fixed transit.

Who does what at customs

We are not the importer of record. Declaration, duty and VAT liabilities sit with you or your Kyrgyz broker. Is there a direct train from China to Kyrgyzstan?

Do the mountain passes close in winter?
